.Austria’s largest hotel group Vienna House continue their global expansion programme, announcing a signed lease agreement with Argo Capital to open a new Vienna House Easy hotel at Airport Frankfurt in Raunheim.
Construction of the hotel project is scheduled to begin in late 2019, with the grand opening due for 2020.
The signing of the lease agreement for the new project in Raunheim further consolidates Vienna House’s presence in the German market. The new hotel will offer 200 rooms in three categories, including 20 city apartments and is ideally situated near Frankfurt Airport.
“Raunheim is ideal for the Vienna House Easy line. This is a place where mobility and a modern hotel concept go well together,” says Rupert Simoner, CEO of Vienna House, adding: “In Argo Capital, we have found the right partner for us who stands behind our concept and with whom we can imagine additional developments in the future.” The hotel in Raunheim will be the 19th Vienna House Easy in Europe.
“Vienna House offers us a convincing concept for our investment in the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region,” says Harald Müller, shareholder of Argo Capital Partners S.a.r.l. “We are really looking forward to the personal and successful partnership.” The lease agreement was arranged by the law firms Bögner Hensel & Partner and Hermann und Kollegen.
The hotel aims to create an ease of experience, by ensuring customers arrive from long journeys with fast access to rooms, with no need for a reception check-in. Thanks to online check-in/check-out, queuing up is a thing of the past – room doors can even be opened via smartphone!
The rooms are a combination of functionality, modern casual comfort and cool design. Whilst the city apartments are a home base for long-stay guests, complete with kitchenette, eating area, smart TV and separate sleeping area.
Vienna House Easy does away with time zones: the small shop and the bar are open 24 hours a day. The restaurant Gasthouse serves Hessian classics as well as modern takes on traditional Austrian home cooking. The bakery-style breakfast is served with Viennese coffee, which is renowned in the region for its refined and delicate flavour.
From a MICE perspective there will be ten creative meeting rooms that offer flexibility and can be tailored to suit a range of business needs from classic conferences, product presentations to training sessions or special themed events. Unlimited mobility and discovery are guaranteed thanks to the proposed carsharing, electric vehicle charging stations, airport shuttles and free bicycle rental facilities on offer.
Vienna House Easy Airport Frankfurt is the second Vienna House project in the region. The Vienna House in the picturesque town of Kronberg im Taunus is scheduled to open in 2019.
