Enjoy the fun on a Manchester Treetop adventure this half term

With half term holidays just around the corner, Heaton Park’s woodland adventure attractions Treetop Trek and Treetop Nets are expecting a stampede of families ready to bounce, swing and balance away the winter blues.

Treetop Trek and Treetop Nets have an outdoor activity for everyone this half term, from teenagers taking a break from exam revision and youngsters desperate for time outside, to toddler siblings joining the party and parents reliving their tree-climbing childhoods – and all device-free.

Visitors can choose from the two treetop experiences to unleash their inner adventure. Treetop Nets takes children’s love of climbing trees and amps it up with over 2000 square metres of walkways, tunnels, slides and giant trampolines cushioned by giant netting pitched high above the ground. The bouncy treetop playground is ideal for children from three and up and their parents/carers/sidekicks in adventure with no need for harnesses – each area is enclosed with high walls of safety nets. Kids can be as daring as they like and parents can join in the fun…All that’s needed as a head for heights!

Treetop Trek raises the bar even further with an incredible aerial adventure through the tree canopy. Harnessed up and elevated high, forest explorers can tackle 35 obstacles including swinging logs and balance bars, whistling through the leaves on zip wires and experiencing spectacular views of the ancient woodland. Treetop Trek is perfect for ages five and up and features two options; the two hour Treetop Zip trek which includes all aerial challenges, and the one hour Mini Trek with a gentler course for smaller or beginner trekkers.

The Met Office is predicting milder than average temperatures for the school break and Treetops Manchester is the perfect place for families to spend the day together enjoying the great outdoors.

Treetop Trek and Treetop Nets are located at Heaton Park, Manchester. Treetop Nets admission for children aged 5 and up and adults is £20.00 and children aged 3-4 plus their adult supervisors pay £13 entry. The Treetop Trek Mini Trek is priced £18 per person (5 years+) and the Zip Trek is priced £32 for adults and £24 for juniors (7 years+).
