Talking tourism in the Forth Valley

Tourism and culture leaders from across the Forth Valley participated in the latest VisitScotland Chief Executive Listening Tour held at the Stirling Court Hotel on Wednesday 8th November.

This year’s tour is focused on the relationship between tourism and culture, reflecting the move of tourism into the new ministerial portfolio held by Fiona Hyslop MSP, Cabinet Secretary for Culture, Tourism and External Affairs.

This meeting was the eighth in this year’s series, engaging with industry and cultural leaders, business owners and operators across the country.

The previous week, saw Malcolm Roughead meet key tourism players from Glasgow and the Clyde Valley, in a similar meeting held at the Technology & Innovation Centre at the University of Strathclyde.
